I come all the way to this location from Pasadena because the staff is so much nicer and they never hesitate to love on my Rotties (which some people act scared of just based on their breed). Had a really great visit today with Tryniti and one of the groomers even stopped to talk to me and love on Demetrious. We both say thank you so much! 💙

This Petco store is the best and my dog groomer Nina is a God sent for my baby Chance she is the absolute best!! She’s the only one that he will let touch him as far as grooming! Hands down to Nina! We will follow her to the moon and back we travel from northwest Houston just for her grooming excellence! I Definitely recommend Nina for your dog grooming needs!

Recent visit- In disbelief and upset with Petco Grooming Team member and grooming results. My dog can no longer be groomed at any Petco; she's basically banned from all Petco Grooming. I totally disagree with a certain Groomer. I think she had no patience -didn't tell me this until the next day AFTER I called several times (that same day,) left a voicemail- no response until I called the next morning. Team member said she heard my message and hadn't the time to call me back yet. I was dissatisfied with grooming and thought it would be fair to return for a brushing. Day of Service- They called me to pick her up- which I appreciate and came right away,while she was in the kennel with the dryer ( she was scratching at the door while in kennel, could hurt herself) I realized when placing her in vehicle, my dog had handfuls of hair coming off her. I have a medium size dog named Cici, high energy, not the easiest to groom. Took her in for a bathe and furminator. Told the team member, I'm sorry I didn't get to play with her before bringing her in (9am)- she's high energy. I know my dog- she wasn't "anxious" she simply is high energy and bathes can be hard. I'm pregnant (4 days away from delivering) my dog is shedding like crazy, I needed her groomed before baby's arrival. My dog has been serviced there several times prior and I even use their vet services. Petco was her first time getting groomed as a puppy. My dog is not the best when grooming I will not deny. however, I've never had a problem and never experienced handfuls of hair either. I remember Kolby was her first groomer there and she was so nice and understanding. So why now?? When I finally got ahold of someone the next morning, it happened to be that groomer. Was told she was a "terrible from the beginning [of Service] and unservicable". Was this lady even a manager to decide this? I'm currently pregnant, about to give birth so I just really don't have the energy to figure out all these details. I will never go back to Petco, I don't even want to go shopping there thanks to this team member. She needs to learn how to talk to people professionally and have more patience with pets.. I do want to mention, I was given a full refund and advised to use a mobile groomer. Also, I had to order a furminator brush on Amazon to brush her myself, because she's shedding like crazy. Something else to add to my full plate.

Good store! I’ve been satisfied at the Pearland Parkway location for quality and customer service. They usually have a cat or two in the back that you can pet through the holes in the plexiglass. I purchased a ball Python here and he is healthy and thriving. Large selection of food, toys, bedding, fish, rodents, and reptiles. Occasionally I catch the humidity levels off in the reptile enclosures, and the area is busy/congested especially in the afternoon and evening hours. They sell reptile food, so I come here often. My two cats benefit from my impulse buying too! Overall, I’m satisfied with this store, I’d recommend a visit. Pet the kitties!!

Stopped by this location to take a look at their fish for our new aquarium. Unfortunately the first tank we saw was their 29-cent goldfish tank. Now, I understand that a lot of people use them for feeders but the fact that there were two piles of at least 15 to 20 of sick/dead goldfish at the very bottom of the tank was all I needed to see. Goldfish are pretty hardy fish so you have to try hard to kill them, so how well are they taking care of the rest of their fish? I did advise someone on our way out, and they just had a shocked look on their face, no response.
